Coastal Georgia Historical Society has made exciting progress towards our mission to protect the unique landmarks of the Georgia Coast and connect thousands of people every year to our area’s rich history. Thanks to loyal friends and generous supporters, we have achieved both organizational stability and robust community support which allows us to boldly envision our future.
Maintaining our momentum is dependent on people who understand that preserving our history is a cause that has no end. Stephen and Miranda Hires’ bequest in December 2022 helped the Society complete a Preservation Campaign to permanently protect our historic buildings.
