Event Navigation

Coastal Georgia Historical Society’s Senior Historian Buddy Sullivan will present a six-week history course, “An Overview of Coastal Georgia History,” beginning January 12, 2021. The course chronologically traces Georgia’s coastal history from Native American culture through 20th century events, including World War II. While covering the coast from Savannah to St. Marys, the focus of the lecture series will be on St. Simons, Jekyll, and Brunswick. Sullivan has conducted this winter series for the Society since 1995.

The course will be presented virtually this year due to the pandemic. The sessions will take place on Tuesday afternoons, January 12 – February 16, 2021, at 4 p.m. The cost for the course is $50 for Society members and $95 for non-members.

Registration is required by visiting Eventbrite.
